Frank Lampard is in dilemma whether to choose new club or continue with the existing club.Internazionale have only recently admitted defeat in their quest to bring Lampard to San Siro this summer, although Jose Mourinho remains determined to land his former protege in the not too distant future.
The Nerazzurri sprang for the England midfielder after contract talks between he and the Blues broke down, leaving the player with a year remaining on his current deal and opening the door for a possible transfer. But new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has made it clear that the 30-year-old is part of his plans, despite the arrival of Portuguese playmaker Deco from Barcelona earlier in the summer. And with contract discussions set to recommence, Terry declared that Lampard is indispensable and insisted Chelsea would suffer without him.
"We’re not the same without Lamps," he said in The Sun. "Any side would miss his goals and displays."However, that is not to say that the former West Ham man should waltz into the starting XI, and Terry believes Scolari will have a tough time when it comes to team selection.
"We’ve got so much competition for places there," he continued. "Michael Ballack is now settled and we’re starting to see the benefits. Deco looks like an unbelievable signing and Michael Essien is on fire."The manager has got some big choices coming his way."
